Day 1 - 80 Kms
The starting point for most Golden Triangle tours, the capital of India, New Delhi, is truly a spectacular beginning to this journey. Delhi is a modern day city with a yesteryear charm. Strategically placed between Agra and Jaipur, Delhi has its own architectural wonders and culture to boast. From sprawling local bazaars that offer spices of all flavours, traditional handicrafts to world-renowned monuments, each with their own special story. The best way to experience Delhi is in the comfort of your personal car. You can choose a pick-up from the airport and transfer to your hotel or decide on meeting your VAYU chauffeur directly at your hotel. Use the day to take in the sights and learn their stories. Suggested Activities: Visit Red Fort and Jama Masjid in Old Delhi. Visit Khan Market.
Day 2 - 80 Kms
Get ready to really explore Delhi today. After a wholesome breakfast at your hotel, we suggest engaging your VAYU chauffeur in steering you to best that Delhi has to offer. Visit Delhi's UNESCO World Heritage Sites and other hidden gems of the city, practice your haggling skills at the local bazaars for traditional Indian handicrafts and satiate your hunger with authentic Indian dishes. Day 3 - 300 Kms
Delhi to Jaipur
Second stop on Golden Triangle tour is the 'Pink City' of Rajasthan, Jaipur. An emerging metropolis amidst a backdrop of ancient history, the 'Pink City' has become famous for performing arts and literature world over, hosting the world's largest free literature festival drawing thousands each year. Complete the day with a light and sound show at Jaipur's famous Amber fort. Suggested Activities: Visit Royal City Palace. A photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds).
Day 4 - 80 Kms
Acquaint yourself with the Pink City today. Once you have covered the major attractions in Jaipur indulge in local shopping at Johri Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar that are famous for authentic Jaipur jewellery, clothes and footwear. You might want ask your VAYU chauffeur for the best things to do in Jaipur. Suggested Activities: Visit Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort or Nahargarh Fort.
Day 5 - 170 Kms
Jaipur to Ranthambore
After breakfast, make way to the land of hills, meadows, lakes and the elusive Indian tiger. Once a private game reserve for the royal house of Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park was declared as a wildlife sanctuary in 1957. A wildlife enthusiast and photographer's dream, Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the world's best-known wildlife sanctuaries. Spend the day in the calm of the forests and admire the romance of history and nature.
Day 6 - 80 Kms
You will want to be a part of the various wildlife safaris available at Ranthambore. Apart from tiger spotting, Ranthambore is home to sloth bears, leopards, jackals and an incredible variety of birds. An incredible experience for naturalists and tourists alike, you are bound to fall in love with Ranthambore.
Day 7 - 300 Kms
Ranthambore to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast, depart for Agra in the comfort of your car as your VAYU chauffeur steers you to the final destination on your North Indian jaunt, Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, an ancient city built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as a capital of the Mughal Dynasty in the 16th century. Day 8 - 240 Kms
Agra to Delhi
All roads lead back to the capital. Spend the day taking in the best that New Delhi has to offer. We recommend taking a leisurely stroll in Lodhi Garden followed by a visit to Humayun's Tomb. In the evening explore the ancient village of Hauz Khas, Delhi's own fashion and art address. Suggested Activities: Visit India Gate and Connaught Place.
Day 9 - 80 Kms
Alas, all good things must come to an end. There are no activities planned for the final day and you’re able to depart your accommodation at any time. We would be more than happy to escort your around New Delhi if you wish to stay a few days longer.
