Your journey begins in New Delhi. India's sprawling capital is home to some of the finest examples of Mughal architecture, a great place to start your journey to Rajasthan. Your foray into Rajasthan begins with Jaipur, A.K.A the Pink City. Travel to heritage towns like Bikaner and explore the desert on camel back in Jaisalmer. A Rajasthan tour is not complete without shopping for Rajasthan's finest handicrafts in one of the India's oldest markets in Rajasthan's Blue City, Jodhpur.   1. Day 1 - 80 Kms Delhi

    Namaste and welcome to New Delhi. The capital of India is a remarkable mix of historical monuments and religious attractions blended into a fast moving and busy metropolis. The best way to experience Delhi is in the comfort of your own car with a chauffeur that knows the ins and outs of the city. Take in the local attractions at your own pace. Remember, for tips and insider knowledge about Delhi, your VAYU chauffeur is the guy you would want to turn to. Suggested Activities: Places to see in Delhi, Lotus Temple, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, Lodhi Garden, Hauz Khas Village. Try shopping at Chandni Chowk Market and visit Qutub Minar Complex.

  2. Day 2 - 80 Kms Delhi

    Whiz pass the city's traffic, cows and people today in the comfort of your car with your VAYU chauffeur. The local landscape of Delhi sure does amaze as monuments of bygone eras sporadically appear in the backdrop of sprawling bazaars, metro systems and modern buildings. Head out on the streets and discover what this ancient city has to offer. Suggested Activities: Visit Purana Qila and Nizamuddin Dargah. Shop for Indian Handicrafts at Dilli Hat, an open-air food plaza and craft bazaar.

  3. Day 3 - 300 Kms Delhi to Jaipur

    Travel for 5 hours in the morning post breakfast for the 'Pink City' of Jaipur. Rouse the inner thrifter in you and work on your haggling skills today in the bazaars and backstreets that offer authentic Jaipuri style jewellery, clothes and footwear (this skill will come in handy throughout your trip). Suggested Activities: Visit Royal City Palace. Take a photo stop at Hawa Mahal

  4. Day 4 - 80 Kms Jaipur

    Start the day with a bird's eye view. We recommend taking a hot air balloon ride over the skyline of Jaipur for an unforgettable experience. Spend the day discovering what Rajasthan is truly famous for, its palaces and forts. Admire the beautiful Rajput and Mughal architecture as you walk past the different halls and streets of the forts. End the day at the bazaars and relish fine Rajasthani cuisine. Suggested Activities: Visit Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort and Jaigarh Fort.

  5. Day 5 - 350 Kms Jaipur to Bikaner

    Post breakfast, leave for Bikaner, home to one of the finest forts in Rajasthan. The construction of the fort is a fine blend of Gujarati, Mughal and Rajput style of architecture. Enjoy a ride on camel back on a Bikaner camel safari during the day and visit the fort during the evening. Suggested Activities: Visit Lalgarh Palace

  6. Day 6 - 330 Kms Bikaner to Jaisalmer

    Entering deeper into Rajasthan, Jaisalmer is the heart of the Thar desert. Like a scene from 'A thousand and one nights' Jaisalmer stands out from the sand dunes surrounding it. The 'Golden City' is known for its beautiful yellow sandstone architecture that can be found throughout the city with Jaisalmer Fort as a crown looking over the city from a hilltop. Suggested Activities: Visit Jaisalmer Fort and Gadisar Lake.

  7. Day 7 - 80 Kms Jaisalmer

    Why not live as a desert dweller for a day. We suggest camping out in the desert for one night at one of Jaisalmer's camel camps. A truly exceptional experience, you do not want to miss out on a desert sunset and a starry night that follows. Suggested Activities: Desert Safari at Sam Sand Dunes.

  8. Day 8 - 300 Kms Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

    Welcome to the 'Blue City' of Rajasthan. Home to one of the oldest markets in India, you will want to splurge on the authentic Rajasthani handicrafts like footwear and fabrics that Jodhpur is famous for. Use your haggling skills that you picked up from Jaipur here. Suggested Activities: Visit the local markets and bazaars. Participate in Amal Sabha, a traditional Opium Ceremony. Visit Mandore Gardens.

  9. Day 9 - 80 Kms Jodhpur

    Walk around the streets of Jodhpur wearing your new Jodhpuri pants that you just picked up and don't forget to try some lassi (known to be the best in India). Jodhpur is also home to beautiful forts and palaces and the major attraction is the Mehrangarh Fort. Suggested Activities: Visit Mehrangarh Fort, Moti Mahal.

  10. Day 10 - 275 Kms Jodhpur to Udaipur via Ranakpur

    Leaving the hues of blue behind, We head on to Udaipur post breakfast. Rated as the most romantic place in India, this picturesque lake city is where artists, dancers and musicians come together to showcase their art amidst marble palaces and rolling hills. Suggested Activities: En-route visit Ranakpur Jain Temples and try a Boat Ride on Lake Pichola. Visit Shilpgram - a rural arts and crafts complex.

  11. Day 11 - 80 Kms Udaipur

    There is a lot to see and do in this beautiful city. You could check out Udaipur's City Palace or take a cooking lesson at the Spice Box cooking school to learn a few secrets about Indian cuisine to take back with you and surprise your friends with. Udaipur is also famous for its traditional miniature paintings (mural-like paintings depicting Rajput and Mughal historical incidents), a visit to the school of miniature paintings is also a must. Suggested Activities: Visit Monsoon Palace, City Palace. Visit The School Miniature Paintings. Attend a traditional puppet show at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal.

  12. Day 12 - 80 Kms Udaipur

    Why do all good things come to an end? Check out from your hotel as per your convenience and depart for the airport. If you wish to stay a few more days or need help with any transfers, please let us know and we will be happy to help you out.
